Lagos Landlord Gives Instructions That His Should Not Be Rented To Igbo People. See Reactions

There have been mixed reactions from Nigerians over a screenshot of an advert by a Landlord who gave his agents instruction to rent his property to everyone except Igbo people.

The screenshot was taken from a website that helps connect property owners with prospective clients.

Many Nigerians have been reacting to the advert, seeing it as very diversive and some sort of apartheid in a country where everyone is supposed to be 'One People' under every circumstance.

Some observers believe that the property owner is right because there are people who find it difficult to pay their house rent as at when due.

While some other people believe that he shouldnt have singled out the Igbo in that instruction because in every tribe you can find defaulters and bad tenants.

As a people who have decided to be one country we must learn to live together in peace and harmony with our fellow country men and women without any form of discrimination and stereotypical statements or actions.
