Good news to all Ogun Students as they will be skipping third term with an assured promotion to next class.

The Ogun State Government had earlier given a directive to shut all schools, following the breakout of Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria. This is to curtail the spread of the global pandemic, as all schools in the country were closed down. However, some states had started releasing new resumption date for schools while some had started organising lectures for terminal class.

Governor Dapo Abiodun had also ordered pupils and students in terminal classes in both public and private schools to resume lectures on August 4 in preparation for their various examinations. He, however, stated that with the exception of students in the exit classes “all students in our schools will enjoy automatic promotion to the next class".

This is good news for Ogun Students as they will be skipping third term with an assured promotion to next class. The State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun announced this while updating newsmen on the efforts of his administration to combat the pandemic in the state.

He also declared that weekend lockdown in the state would continue till August 14, when Ogun will be reopening worship centres. He has endeavoured all worship centres to be strict compliant to stipulated guidelines.

Governor Abiodun stated his reason for making the decision. The education sector has not only been one of the biggest industries in our dear State, and there is no gainsaying that we are the education capital of Nigeria. We also are homes to the biggest worship centres in Nigeria and Christianity. Here is where people come from different parts of the nation and even from all over the world to worship God in truth and in Spirit.

Congratulations to all Ogun state students, you are all fortunate to have a good Governor

However, don't forget to follow us for more updates.
